Mugisha won again the final stage of the U23 Tour de l’Espoir in Yaoundé today. But this time, Moses Mugisha succeeded Samuel Mugisha winner here even a year ago. There is no family relationship between the two riders but the same sense of attack and spectacle. The winner of the day has not hesitated to take his responsibilities to challenge the Eritrea Team which dominated the race since the start last Monday in Douala. The 21-year-old Rwandan escaped after just seven kilometers of racing and held alone at the front for 62 kilometers on a very difficult and very steep circuit.

Yakob Debesay however was never worried, the Eritrean yellow jersey and his teammates have controlled all attacks that could have endangered their pole position in the overall classification. Yakob Debesay succeeds Rwandan Joseph Areruya in the U23 Tour de l’Espoir prize list, which counts for the UCI Nations Cup.
